It’s truly bizarre that across the nearly 30 years of Warhammer video games, we haven’t had a single one that attempted to channel the tabletop Warhammer experience by utilizing the genre that feels best suited to do so: CRPGs. But that’s all about to change, as Pathfinder developer Owlcats has been cooking up something to fill this void. Ubisoft to Remove Raised Black Fist Imagery from Tom Clancy's Elite Squad
Ubisoft has decided to remove the black raised fist imagery from Tom Clancy's Elite Squad's intro, as it has been deemed "insensitive and harmful" and appears to connect a fictional terrorist group called Umbra to the Black Lives Matter movement. Ubisoft posted its statement on Twitter, and confirmed it will be removing this "raised fist" imagery from Tom Clancy's Elite Squad in the next title update on Tuesday, September 1 on Android and "as soon as possible on iOS." "Imagery that appeared in the opening video sequence of Tom Clancy's Elite Squad featuring a 'raised fist' was insensitive and harmful in both its inclusion and how it was portrayed," Ubisoft tweet reads. Marvel's Avengers: Every Post-Launch Character Will Have a $10 Battle Pass

Sony Is Exploring the Idea of Bringing More First-Party Games to PC
Following the release of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, Sony is looking into the idea of bringing more of its first-party games to PC. In Sony's 2020 corporate report, it states that it will "explore expanding our 1st party titles to the PC platform, in order to promote further growth in our profitability." It's important to note that this most likely would mean that Sony would look to port older titles, such as 2018's God of War, as opposed to brand new releases. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time's Flashback Levels Revealed
Time is the name of the game in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, and a new feature revealed by developer Toys for Bob is bringing players all the way back in Crash and Coco's history to before the original trilogy. Sea of Thieves Adds New Permanent Voyage in September Update
Sea of Thieves is adding a shaggy new addition to your pirate crew in its September update. In a new state of Sea of Thieves video premiered during Gamescom 2020, developer Rare outlined some of the progress the open seas adventure game has made since its Steam launch, and what the developers have in store for next month. Chief among the new additions will be the inclusion of new dog companions that players can now have aboard their ships. Stronghold: Warlords Special Edition Announced
Stronghold: Warlords, the castle-building sim coming to PC on January 26 2021 (after a recent delay), will get a digital special edition release with a number of bonuses. Revealed at Gamescom 2020, the upcoming strategy game will bring a special edition on Steam, priced at $49.99 USD / £39.99 (Australian prices not available at time of writing), including a copy of the game, a soundrack, an art book and a documentary. 4X Strategy Game Humankind Details Its Religion System
Humankind, the upcoming 4X strategy game, has detailed its Religion system, and explained how wildly it can alter your path through human history. Explained during IGN's Gamescom Studio show, Religion will be tied into every civilization into the game, with each culture beginning the game with a different religion. Religion begins when a civilization has a high enough population, and can be strengthened over time by adding Tenets, which grant bonuses. Serene, infuriating, excellent cycling game Lonely Mountains: Downhill has announced a new DLC mountain, Eldjfall Island, as well as new daily challenges and an intriguing 'ASMR soundtrack'. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will offer two resolution modes, 4K at 30 FPS and 60 FPS at lower resolutions. That's according to a Famitsu interview featuring Marcus Smith and Mike Daly of Insomniac Games , as spotted by Nibel on Twitter. In the interview, Famitsu asks about the "supported frame rates and resolutions" for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, with Daly responding that the game will offer two separate modes for players to pick from to balance comfortable gameplay with beautiful graphics. "One is 30 FPS at 4K resolution and the other is lower resolution at 60 FPS," the translation reads. Little Nightmares 2 Gives You a Friend in the Darkness
Little Nightmares introduced us to a disturbing world inhabited by monstrous enemies - like the misshapen janitor with his elongated hands, or the corpulent twin chefs preparing a grotesque feast for their disgusting guests. Following a hands-on encounter with Little Nightmares 2’s first new adversary, I’m happy to say that the sequel is proving to be just as unnerving. This particular tale puts you in control of Mono, a diminutive figure who adorns his head with a paper bag in an oddly cute fashion statement. Where the first installment had you navigating the tight confines of a ship, this sequel introduced me to foreboding and equally oppressive woods, filled with cages, traps, and viscera. Hitman 3 Release Date And Free Next-Gen Upgrade Revealed
Hitman 3's January 20 release date has been revealed alongside a free next-gen upgrade. A blog post from IO Interactive notes that Hitman 3 will launch early next year on January 20, 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Stadia and PC via the Epic Games Store. Players who purchase a digital edition of Hitman 3 on current generation platforms will be eligible for a next-gen upgrade free of charge if they decide to jump to the PS5 or the Xbox Series X in the future.
