Epic has once again made a move to try and get the court to reinstate Fortnite to Apple's App Store, as it has stated that, since its removal, daily iOS Fortnite players have dropped by over 60%. As reported by The Verge, Epic Games has filed a preliminary injunction against Apple that would force it to put Fortnite back on its App Store. The full hearing for this overall case had already been scheduled for September 28, but Epic is hoping to have Fortnite back in the hands of iOS players before then, at least until a verdict is reached. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers previously ruled that Apple did not have to put Fortnite back in its App Store as Epic hadn't proved any harm had been done and that Epic "strategically chose to breach its agreements with Apple." EA has put in-game ads into EA Sports UFC 4 a few weeks after release, and its fans are not happy about it. Reddit user Ydino shared a clip of the in-game ads, which do seem intrusive, and they note that it was added "a month after it's [sic] release so it wasn't talked about in reviews." Additionally, Ydino brings up that UFC 4 is a $60 game and not a free-to-play title that is using ads in lieu of charging the player an entry fee. During the digital Crunchyroll Expo, the anime streaming company announced it is teaming up with Adult swim to produce an anime adaptation of Shenmue. Shenmue will be a 13 episode series is based on the video game franchise where protagonist Ryo Hazuki sets out to get revenge for his father's murder. The beloved Sega video game series became a cult classic for its slice-of-life storytelling and fleshed out world. Crunchyroll and Adult Swim are also working with the game's creator Yu Suzuki, who will serve as executive producer. "The world of Shenmue is Fascinating and unique and we are so excited to partner with Yu Suzuki to bring his epic creation to anime - and make kick-ass martial art epic!," said Adult Swim vice president Jason DeMarco in a statement. Nintendo announced the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection during a surprise Nintendo Direct. This new All-Stars collects Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy 1 into a single package for the Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo released a series of cute, nostalgic Japanese trailers for each game in the collection. NBA 2K21 is officially out today, but I only got my full review copy yesterday morning, so this review in progress will spill over into next week (after the Labor Day weekend). But I was able to put in a decent number of hours yesterday, and in that time NBA 2K21 has made it clear that it has maintained the franchise’s record of stellar on-court gameplay. Most of the upgrades are relatively small, like loose rebounds looking and feeling a lot more realistic, but they help add to an already solid foundation. The best part of NBA 2K21 so far is that the control tweaks, such as the new aim meter, make for an all-new learning curve. Unfortunately, upgrades to the surrounding game modes seem pretty barebones. Team Fortress 2’s ongoing battle with cheaters and bots has entered a new stage where there are now bots that will kill other bots. We’ve entered bot war territory. There is now a new type of bot in the Team Fortress 2 scene called “the extermination bot services,” which are scripted to only kill cheaters. They will supposedly only focus on cheating bots and will not bother regular players. Videos of the extermination bot services can be found online. WB Games Montréal has explained a little more about the different combat styles of its four heroes, Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl. In a previous interview with IGN , creative director Patrick Redding made clear that all four characters would use melee and ranged weaponry, as well as special abilities. In a new interview summarised by the  PlayStation Blog , Redding explained how, despite the similar set-up, the four characters would fight differently. "Red Hood is a brutal brawler with a focus on gunplay. Nightwing’s acrobatics lead to a more exaggerated style of fighting, while the current Robin favours stealth and is a dab hand at using status effects to disrupt enemies. And Batgirl? 'She combines a laser-focused, targeted and efficient melee fighter approach with a lot of resilience and the ability to weaponize her environment using hacking,' says Redding." The Super Mario 3D All-Stars release of Super Mario Galaxy has fans confused about how the game's motion controls will work on Nintendo Switch, and a Nintendo clarification hasn't necessarily helped explain things. Released in 2007, Super Mario Galaxy arrived on the Wii and took advantage of the console's motion control peripherals to activate Mario's spin ability and fire star bits in Co-Star mode. Fans have been wondering how this will work on the Nintendo Switch Lite due to a  paragraph on the Super Mario 3D All-Stars website which notes that "detached Joy-Con controllers are required and sold separately" to enjoy the game's motion features. The re-release will allow players to "Gently shake a Joy-Con controller to activate Mario’s Spin ability or pass a Joy-Con controller to a friend for some extra help in Co-Star Mode." Alpha footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer appears to have leaked online, revealing a number of details about the mode ahead of its planned reveal on September 9. The multiplayer footage appears to have been accidentally streamed on Twitch by user DougisRaw for around seven minutes, with a four-minute segment of that stream being captured and circulated online . There is a lot to glean from the footage of the 6v6 VIP Escort match, which takes place on a new map set in Miami, and follows DougisRaw as they attempt to stop the enemy VIP from reaching an extraction point. Here's everything we noticed: The four starting classes are Stealth Ops, Pointman, Grenadier, Fire Support and Double Agent. Weapons have five attachment slots and level-based progression. Some weapons shown in the footage include the XM4, the AK-74u, the M16 and the Gallo SA12 Shotgun. Every loadout has a Tactical, Lethal and Field Upgrade slot, which is filled by the 'Field Mic'

A "visually and technically enhanced" next-gen version of The Witcher 3 is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021, and will arrive as a free update for players who own the game on current generation consoles or PC. CD Projekt Red has revealed that it's  working on the next-generation edition of the game , which has been developed "to take advantage of the most powerful gaming hardware." EA has announced the first of three planned updates coming to Madden NFL 21’s Franchise Mode which will include some requested features from the community. The updates are announced on the heels of a fan backlash to the newest iteration of Madden. A PVE endgame mode set in a 100-floor skyscraper is coming to The Division 2 in a future update. 'The Summit' will arrive as part of The Division 2's Title Update 11 and was revealed during a State of the Game live stream, which is available to watch on Ubisoft's YouTube channel. The Summit is a PVE mode focused on adding replayability to the endgame by offering environments that change between floors, alternating factions and new objectives, ensuring each trip through the building is different. Harmonix's Fuser finally has a release date and it's coming on November 10. Fuser was announced back in February as a new take on the rhythm gaming genre where, instead of focusing on hitting notes as they come down a moving track, your job is to keep the crowd excited with your musical mashups. Harmonix announced today that players will get the chance to try their hand at being a virtual DJ on November 10 when the game arrives for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. It's not clear if the game wil lcome to PS5 or Xbox Series X, or if it will be backward compatible on the new consoles. Super Mario 3D All Stars is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch on September 18. It includes three classic 3D platformers that originally appeared on three different generations of Nintendo hardware. It has Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy, and it's up for preorder right now. The visuals of each game have been upgraded with higher resolutions, including a 16:9 screen ratio in Super Mario Sunshine. The controls for Super Mario Galaxy have also been optimized so you can use two Joy-Con to the things that required the Wii remote in the original. The game also comes with a music player mode that lets you browse through to the original soundtrack of each game. Oddly enough, this is a limited-edition title. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a new toy set that combines real-life Mario Kart models and Nintendo Switch, and will be released on October 16. The game involves using a physical Mario Kart toy - equipped with a motor and camera - that connects to your Nintendo Switch, which is used as a controller. On the Switch screen, the real world around your kart is turned into an AR Mario Kart course. Super Mario Bros. 35 has been announced for Nintendo Switch, which takes the form of a battle royale-like competitive version of the original Super Mario Bros., featuring 35 players. It's out on October 1. Announced in today's Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct, this "online battle game" has you playing simultaneously with 34 other players, with enemies defeated being sent to other players' games.
