Activision has announced its Riochet anti-cheat system will now notify Call of Duty players when it has kicked out an individual for cheating.
In a tweet, Activision said Call of Duty's kill feed will notify lobbies in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 when the anti-cheat system has detected and removed a "problem player".

Starting in Season 05, the kill feed will notify lobbies when #TeamRICOCHET and it's systems have removed a problem player from the game.
This is the latest effort from Activision as it attempts to crack down on cheating PC players in Call of Duty. Earlier this week, it was reported that Call of Duty banned more than 14,000 Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone cheaters in just a single day. Last June, Activision threatened to take away weapons for players caught cheating in Call of Duty. Activision has even gone as far as to say that if you were previously caught cheating in a Call of Duty game, your ban could extend to future franchise installments.
Of course, Activision is far from the only company dealing with cheaters. Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced it had created its own cheat system to detect console players in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege who are using a mouse and keyboard instead of a gamepad while playing in matches, with the company seeing more than a 70 percent reduction in cheaters as a result. Even Bungie is dealing with cheaters in Destiny 2, with the company announcing in April that it is cracking down on those using third-party peripherals to give players an unfair advantage.
Activision is set to unveil Modern Warfare 3 next week. Presumably this anti-cheat measure will apply to that game when it launches later this year.
