IGN UK Podcast #559: The Manic Marsupial and Jesse's Voice Changer

The manic marsupial, AKA Crash Bandicoot is back, and because he forgot to press record the first time; so is Dale with a second go at explaining all his thoughts on the game. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Preloading Has Begun

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't out for another week, but it's now officially available for preloading. As of today, Nintendo Switch users who preordered Tears of the Kingdom digitally can now preload the game a week early as expected. Of course, it still won't be playable until the game officially unlocks, but preloading it now might help you jump back into the world of Hyrule a little bit earlier — as GameSpot pointed out, the file is 16.2GB. Some fans have reported difficulty with getting the preload to begin, but it appears there's a simple solution. According to Twitter user @PhantomxKairi, canceling the preorder and preordering again should prompt the preload to begin correctly. My digital version of Tears of the Kingdom is now preloading on my Switch! Black Friday: Walmart Will Offer PS5 and Xbox Consoles Online November 22

It's been over a year since the PS5 and Xbox consoles released, and they still don't seem any easier to buy. However, Walmart is giving you another chance to get your hands on a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S on Monday, November 22.

Here's what we know about PS5 and Xbox availability at Walmart so far.

When to Get a PS5 and Xbox at Walmart for Black Friday

In the Walmart Black Friday flyer (see below), the mega-retailer is advertising online availability for both versions of the PS5 and both versions of the latest Xbox on November 22.

What we don't know is what TIME the availability will happen. Walmart has been really good about giving everyone a heads-up ahead of time for its console drops, and it also rolls them out in 10-minute increments to deter scalpers and spread out the inventory.

How to Get a PS5 or Xbox at Walmart for Black Friday

As mentioned before, the consoles will ONLY be available online. Walmart has advertised paid Walmart+ members will get a jumpstart on the Black Friday deals, gaining access a full 4 hours ahead of non-members. We don't know if this applies to PS5 and Xbox, but membership is $12.95 and you can't get early access to Walmart's Black Friday deals with a trial membership.

Even if you don't sign up for Walmart+ membership, I definitely recommend creating a Walmart account ahead of Black Friday if you want to save a bit of time. When you sign up for an account you enter in all your relevant info: shipping and billing address, credit card info, and name. When the consoles DO become available, the few seconds you save by not having to re-enter in all your info could mean the difference between bringing home a PS5 or getting a dreaded "sorry, this item is no longer available" message.

You can also try bookmarking the item pages, but this method isn't foolproof, as often Walmart and other retailers shake up the URLs for the new consoles to ward off bots. Also, the item pages often get taken over by third-party sellers when the consoles aren't available from Walmart, so you get some crazy high prices.

Can I Get a PS5 or Xbox at my Local Walmart

This is an easy one: no. The PS5 will not be at physical locations, nor will the Xbox. If you want a PS5 for Black Friday you have to order one online. Same if you want an Xbox Series X or S. It's just the reality we live in now.

Will the PS5 or Xbox Be on Sale for Black Friday?

What Other Black Friday Deals Does Walmart Have?

The official kick-off to Black Friday isn't until Monday, which, yes, makes no sense at all. However, Best Buy's Black Friday deals are live now, and Amazon is matching Black Friday prices at its competitors. Couple that with the confirmation Nintendo Black Friday deals begin on Sunday, November 21 and there's a whole lot of shopping going on far ahead of the actual Black Friday date.
