Stardew Valley Creator Announces Haunted Chocolatier

Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe's next game will be Haunted Chocolatier, a brand new sim that bears a strong resemblance to his previous work. It's so similar, in fact, that it looks like it could even be a sequel. In a brief reveal on Youtube , ConcernedApe showed off Haunted Chocolatier's beautiful new world. Much like Stardew Valley, it will be a top-down pixel-based sim, and it looks to have much the same flavor as ConcernedApe's previous work. Some of the initial characters include Maddie, who asks what it's like to live in the big city, as well Jett and Nigel. Presumably you will be able to date quite a few of them. ConcernedApe, the pseudonym for solo indie developer Eric Barone, has found considerable success with Stardew Valley, which has grown into one of the most popular indie games of the past decade. Overwatch 2 Under DDOS Attack on Launch Day

If you're struggling to find a match in Overwatch 2, Blizzard shared that it is currently under a mass distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, preventing successful matchmaking. Blizzard president Mike Ybarra shared that the Overwatch 2 servers are under a mass DDoS attack and that the teams are working to mitigate the damage. Unfortunately we are experiencing a mass DDoS attack on our servers. Teams are working hard to mitigate/manage. CD Projekt Is Working on 3 Witcher Games, a New Cyberpunk, and a New IP

CD Projekt Red has announced the codenames and brief descriptions for five new games, including 3 Witcher games, a new Cyberpunk, and a brand new IP. Revealed on Twitter, it marks a major next step for the developer in multiple respects – from developing its own IP from scratch, to developing multiple 'full-size' games at one time. In a separate release , the company says it is also "adding multiplayer to the majority of future projects." This also marks the first time that we've learned the new Witcher trilogy will not be the only new games set in that universe. The five games are: Orion - "A codename for our next Cyberpunk game, which will take the Cyberpunk franchise further and continue harnessing the potential of this dark future universe." 2022 had the potential to be the biggest year for new video games since 2017 — a standout year that brought us Breath of the Wild , Super Mario Odyssey, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Resident Evil 7, Nier: Automata, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and so much more. Unfortunately, a number of big delays (Breath of the Wild 2 and Starfield among them) has taken some of the wind out of this year's sails. Yet even with those setbacks, there have still been 57 games released in 2022 that IGN awarded a review score of 8 or higher.
