Sony has unveiled five Japanese-developed games including The Tale of Onogoro and Fantasvision 202X coming to the PlayStation VR2 at launch.
Revealed on the PlayStation Blog, the games are the latest to join the PS VR2's launch line-up on February 22. The Tale of Onogoro is a cooperative action game that sees the player join forces with Hal, a shrine maiden who embarks on a journey to stop the five raging Kami living on Onogori Island. Teamwork is essential as the player must solve riddles and battle with Hal while sharing health.
Fantavision 202X is a remake of the original PlayStation 2 game, bringing back the bright and colourful firework-themed puzzles in the world of virtual reality. Also coming on launch day is Altair Breaker, a multiplayer sword-fighting action game that, as you'd expect, puts the player in control of a sword-fighting master as they cut through an army of killing machines.
Kizuna AI - Touch the Beat is a rhythm game that lets the player play along with virtual YouTuber Kizuna AI through 15 different songs. Finally, Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate is an investigation game that aims to provide a deeply cinematic experience though an intense story set in the futuristic city of Astrum Close.
Sony also revealed that an additional title called X8 is in development for PS VR2. Players fight in five versus five battles that combines the worlds of various action games.
The above five games will join a handful of other games coming to the system at launch. Both Moss and Moss: Book 2 are confirmed to be released on February 22, alongside The Dark Pictures Anthology: Switchback VR and Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
