IGN UK Podcast #559: The Manic Marsupial and Jesse's Voice Changer

The manic marsupial, AKA Crash Bandicoot is back, and because he forgot to press record the first time; so is Dale with a second go at explaining all his thoughts on the game. Jesse is also on and has been playing a ton of Star Wars: Squadrons. In other news, he also has a new voice changer toy that distracts us for a good 30 seconds too. Cardy rounds off the trio by telling us all about his early thoughts of the Mafia Remaster and we also have an extremely tight round of The Endless Search that needs an action replay to decide a winner. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Preloading Has Begun

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't out for another week, but it's now officially available for preloading. As of today, Nintendo Switch users who preordered Tears of the Kingdom digitally can now preload the game a week early as expected. Of course, it still won't be playable until the game officially unlocks, but preloading it now might help you jump back into the world of Hyrule a little bit earlier — as GameSpot pointed out, the file is 16.2GB. Some fans have reported difficulty with getting the preload to begin, but it appears there's a simple solution. According to Twitter user @PhantomxKairi, canceling the preorder and preordering again should prompt the preload to begin correctly. My digital version of Tears of the Kingdom is now preloading on my Switch! See a New Card From the Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer 40,000 Crossover!

On October 7, two geek culture titans - Magic: The Gathering and Warhammer 40,000 - are coming together in a hugely exciting collaboration. It will see the characters, lore and world of Games Workshop's epic Warhammer 40,000 universe appearing in the form of playable cards that utilise Magic: The Gathering's gameplay architecture. A part of the "Universes Beyond" initiative, it's a brilliant idea to bring gritty sci-fi into Magic's normally more fantasy-oriented foundation, and to do so with a property as renowned for its incredible art as Magic itself.

The crossover will be released in the form of four Commander decks, each led by a character capable of martialling the factions under their control.

Today we have a card to reveal from the Forces of the Imperium deck. Introducing, Sanguinary Priest:

This card very much fits into the deck's overall strategy. According to Senior Game Designer Ethan Fleischer in this fascinating Bridge Worlds featurette, Forces of the Imperium is "based in white's philosophy of building up a large army of small creatures" which will make using Sanguinary Priest to cash them in for damage potentially quite useful.

Magic: The Gathering's Universes Beyond Warhammer 40,000 crossover will be available on October 7, while Secret Lair drops will run from October 17th - November 14th. You can find out more on the official Magic X Warhammer 40,000 site.
