'No Plans' for Fall Guys to Come to Xbox Game Pass

Excitement was sparked today as Xbox Game Pass suggested Fall Guys would be arriving soon – but Mediatonic and Devolver have since quashed the idea, with the publisher saying there are "no plans" for the game to hit the subscription service. As pointed out by ronbag on Reddit , the Xbox Game Pass Instagram account recently replied to a user hoping for Fall Guys on Game Pass by saying "it's coming". However, after news started spreading today, the game's official Twitter account, and publisher Devolver moved to deny it. Devolver explained to journalist Tom Warren that there are "no plans" for the popular game to come to "any form" of Game Pass - meaning the Xbox, PC, or cloud versions of the service. A  tweet from the official Ubisoft UK Twitter account announced the remake, which was originally revealed in early September and scheduled for release on January 21, 2021, has now been delayed to March 18, 2021. The Nintendo eShop is currently down for unscheduled "emergency maintenance", which may be due to demand for the recently released Monster Hunter Rise demo. The eShop has been down for at least 4 hours at time of writing, with Nintendo's Japanese customer support Twitter account repeatedly apologising for the issues, but offering no timescale for a fix.
