Halo: Master Chief Collection Could Add Microtransactions Soon

Halo: The Master Chief Collection may be getting microtransactions eight years after it launched. 343 Industries has revealed that it’s currently exploring adding microtransactions to the game, allowing players to purchase “Spartan Points” (currently called “Season Points”) to unlock gear and customizations they may have missed. “For players who are new to the MCC, or who may not have dedicated much time specifically to unlocking items during the seasonal updates, or are simply completionists looking to catch the last outstanding items they need, we are internally exploring a potential new feature for the future in the form of purchasable Spartan Points,” 343 revealed in a blog post . The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Preloading Has Begun

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't out for another week, but it's now officially available for preloading. As of today, Nintendo Switch users who preordered Tears of the Kingdom digitally can now preload the game a week early as expected. Of course, it still won't be playable until the game officially unlocks, but preloading it now might help you jump back into the world of Hyrule a little bit earlier — as GameSpot pointed out, the file is 16.2GB. Some fans have reported difficulty with getting the preload to begin, but it appears there's a simple solution. According to Twitter user @PhantomxKairi, canceling the preorder and preordering again should prompt the preload to begin correctly. Ubisoft has announced that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will return to sale for the first time since 2014 this holiday. Announced after the game's 10 year anniversary, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition will comprise the game and its DLC. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, developed by Ubisoft and scored by Anamanaguchi, was a brawler released in 2010. We said it "harkens back to old-school side-scrolling beat-em-ups such as River City Ransom and Streets of Rage, but with a few fun twists that make for one of the coolest downloadable games around," in our 8/10 review at the time. The game was delisted in 2014, reportedly due to an expired license, and Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O'Malley has repeatedly expressed frustration with the the game's disappearance.
