IGN UK Podcast #559: The Manic Marsupial and Jesse's Voice Changer

The manic marsupial, AKA Crash Bandicoot is back, and because he forgot to press record the first time; so is Dale with a second go at explaining all his thoughts on the game. Jesse is also on and has been playing a ton of Star Wars: Squadrons. In other news, he also has a new voice changer toy that distracts us for a good 30 seconds too. Cardy rounds off the trio by telling us all about his early thoughts of the Mafia Remaster and we also have an extremely tight round of The Endless Search that needs an action replay to decide a winner. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Preloading Has Begun

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't out for another week, but it's now officially available for preloading. As of today, Nintendo Switch users who preordered Tears of the Kingdom digitally can now preload the game a week early as expected. Of course, it still won't be playable until the game officially unlocks, but preloading it now might help you jump back into the world of Hyrule a little bit earlier — as GameSpot pointed out, the file is 16.2GB. Some fans have reported difficulty with getting the preload to begin, but it appears there's a simple solution. According to Twitter user @PhantomxKairi, canceling the preorder and preordering again should prompt the preload to begin correctly. My digital version of Tears of the Kingdom is now preloading on my Switch! Iron Man VR Free Update Adds New Game Plus, New Weapons

Iron Man VR has received a new update that adds New Game+, an "Ultimate" difficulty mode, new weapons, improved load times, new quality of life features, and much more. Blaine Higdon, gameplay designer at Iron Man VR's developer Camouflaj, took to the PlayStation Blog to explain what's included in the free update, beginning with new game modes. The New Game+ mode will allow players to re-experience Iron Man VR's story without giving up their Research Points, and it immediately unlocks the Impulse Armor. The "Ultimate" difficulty mode has also been added, and will give players who have already mastered the "Invincible" difficulty even more of a challenge. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/07/02/marvels-iron-man-vr-review"] The new update also brings with it new weapons, including the Continuous Beam Repulsor that allows Iron Man to sustain a beam for several seconds. There will also be an EM Charge Cannon that can penetrate that hardlight shields of Skull, Revenant, and Wight drones. The Micro Swarm shoots out a "fire-and-forget" intelligent anti-swarm weapon that's great for large groups of enemies and, lastly, the Gravity Bomb creates a singularity that traps multiple enemies in their tracks. Eight new Custom Armor Decos, including the Iron Patriot, have been added. These can be unlocked by completing new challenges in-game. Beyond content, this update adds a few welcome quality of life features, including improved load times across the board. Additionally, the Shanghai mission's load times have decreased by 20-30 seconds.
