The Most Mysterious New Silent Hill Game Gets More Details

Silent Hill: Ascension's announcement left a lot of unanswered questions, but one of its creators has shed some light on what fans can actually expect - including the fact that the interactive streaming event will only ever run once. Speaking to a well-known Silent Hill leaker known as Dusk Golem on Twitter (below), CEO of Genvid (a streaming software tools company working on the game) Jacob Navok revealed that Ascension is a narrative-based, branching choice cloud streaming experiment. Konami is essentially going to stream, only once, a choose your own adventure-style Silent Hill mini-series where the stream's chat will collectively decide what happens, essentially letting the fanbase create its own Silent Hill canon. Crucially, it will only ever be aired once, according to Navok.
