Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 Arrives on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch in Summer 2022

-
The 2004 hit RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II is getting an updated re-release this summer. The game, from Publisher Interplay Entertainment and developer Black Isle Studios, will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game will not be a remake, but it will feature enhanced graphics and up to 4K resolution on supported platforms. If you want to play with friends, you’ll be able to play co-op locally across all versions. On the Steam version, you’ll also be able to use Remote Play for a long-distance cooperative experience. If you never played 1992’s Flashback, or any of the re-releases or remasters since, it’s a retro platformer and adventure game where you jump and roll around, solve puzzles, and shoot mutants in a dystopian cyberpunk future. Despite a pretty enormous 30-year gap, this sequel very much follows in the footsteps of its predecessor...

As part of today's January 2024 State of Play presentation, Stellar Blade's new trailer revealed impressive visuals alongside a ton of fast-paced slashy gameplay.
