Microsoft has said attendees at gamescom 2023 can expect to see the largest booth Xbox has ever had as well as the return of Xbox FanFest. Over 30 games across 150 gaming stations are set for the booth, Microsoft said , alongside a 300-seat theatre in which Bethesda Game Studios will show a Starfield presentation, Turn 10 will show a Forza presentation, and Oxide Games will show an Ara: History Untold presentation. Neither Starfield, Forza, nor Ara: History Untold will be playable at gamescom, however. Microsoft is yet to announce an Xbox showcase for gamescom 2023 and it looks like the focus is firmly on games set to come out in 2023 or the early part of 2024. A newly-surfaced Diablo 4 glitch lets players transfer their Eternal Realm characters into the Seasonal Realm, sparking concern about the potential of a Blizzard ban. YouTuber Glitch Unlimited posted a video breaking down this inter-realm travel and what it enables. In summary, to exploit the glitch you need to be in a group with a friend in the Seasonal Realm, briefly disconnect your internet, then log back into the Seasonal Realm with your Eternal character. Eternal characters who exploit this glitch can benefit from the Seasonal Blessing experience boost, which will let them level up faster than they would normally be able to. Eternal Realm characters can also carry over their gear and inventory items, which creates obvious issues for the balance of the Seasonal Realm Blizzard has created. Saints Row’s third and potentially final expansion, A Song Of Ice And Dust, comes out August 8, developer Volition has announced. The expansion launches ahead of Saint Row's August 24 Steam release, which comes alongside a new activity for players on all platforms. The developer of Baldur’s Gate 3 has told fans to delete the Early Access version, any save files and mods, and do a fresh install when the hotly-anticipated role-playing game launches proper on August 3. Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in Early Access on Steam since October 2020 and developer Larian has already warned players they face a 122GB install for Baldur’s Gate 3’s launch build , which cannot be preloaded. In a follow-up tweet explaining this (below), Larian told Early Access players to delete their save files and mods and do a fresh install. This is to reduce the risk of file conflicts when the final game downloads, and "should mean more playing, and no troubleshooting!" Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming to even more consoles. But we're not talking about the Nintendo Switch, or some unannounced next-gen thing. Instead, Respawn is working on dedicated versions for last-gen systems, the Xbox One and PS4. Announced today during EA's earnings call, the publisher revealed that Respawn is "in the early stages of development" to bring Jedi: Survivor to PS4 and Xbox One. Of course, it's not abandoning the current-gen, either. "Additional performance improvements for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S remain a top priority at Respawn and the team will share more information as soon as the next update is ready," the publisher said in a statement. Larian Studios has revealed Baldur’s Gate 3 has an install size of 122 GB and that players can't preload any of it before the game's August 3 launch. “Baldur’s Gate 3 will launch on August 3 at 5pm Ghent time, or your non-Belgian time zone equivalent as shown above," read a community update posted to the RPG's Steam page. "There will be no pre-loading of the game before then.” The post also noted that early access save files would not be compatible with the full version of the game at launch, while reasoning that "so much has changed that it’s really worth it to start afresh.” As reported by PC Gamer , Larian Studios’ Swen Vincke said in July it would not be advantageous to have the early access version of the game installed, as while “there might be a few bytes that are the same”, the launch game was essentially going to require "a full reinstall”. Rich Vorodi, one of the team’s principal game designers who focuses on quests, levels, and puzzles, gushed to IGN about the team’s obsession with hiding things in all their games. “We just love to put secrets in everything,” he said. “It allows us to stir up conversations amongst people we’ve never even met and just provide a little awe and mystery.” In some of their past projects, like 2019’s Remnant: From The Ashes, data mining sucked some of the mystery out of their game a little earlier than they’d have liked .
