Ever since Magic: The Gathering’s 30th Anniversary Edition was announced in October, it’s been making headlines. Its $1000 price tag for four randomized booster packs of 15 non-tournament legal cards from Magic’s first set (some of which Wizards of the Coast promised never to reprint back in 1996) had many players up in arms , to the point where even Wall Street took notice . The tensions around it are higher than I’ve seen with any Magic product in a very long time, with some arguing it's an overpriced insult to the player base while others see it as just another premium collectable in a game built on them. Announced tonight during The Game Awards, The Last of Us Part 1 officially has a PC release date: March 3, 2023. This remake of The Last of Us was originally slated to arrive on PC "very soon" after its September launch on PlayStation 5, but we hadn't heard a firm date since then. A trailer shown during the award show gives a fresh look at familiar gameplay now captured on PC. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League got a new trailer at The Game Awards , which paid tribute to the late Kevin Conroy . We also got a release date for the game, which is coming on May 26, 2023. The trailer opened with a silhouette of Batman, before showing the Suicide Squad torturing the Flash. Then, Batman arrives and starts doing his thing in the shadows, which definitely frightens the Suicide Squad. Batman ultimately reveals himself and turns out the lights. The trailer ended with a tribute to Conroy, with a message that said "Thank You Kevin". After the trailer, host Geoff Keighley confirmed that Conroy is the voice of Batman in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Conroy voiced the Caped Crusader in Rocksteady's Arkham games and in the Batman 1990s Animated Series. He passed away on November 10 following a short battle with cancer. As announced during The Game Awards , the bullet hell hit Vampire Survivors is now playable on iOS and Android joining its counterparts on Xbox and Steam, where it is currently one of the most popular games on the Steam Deck. We were huge fans of Vampire Survivors' 1.0 release earlier this year, awarding it an 8 in our review . At the time, we said, "With its dead-simple graphics and basic map and enemy design, Vampire Survivors seems like it has no business sticking with me as much as it does. Days Gone developer says it doesn’t share John Garvin’s view on why it was poorly received.
